My deep compassion for Nature began at an early age living in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. I spent most of my childhood adventuring to beautiful locations in the remote areas of wilderness surrounding my home. Following my high school graduation, I moved to the coast of North Carolina to study at a University for a few years where I began to develop a passion for photography and documenting Mother Nature in its rawest form. My innate fascination with the intricacy and splendor of this universe led me to pursue a degree in Philosophy and was the root of my eventual passion of artistic expression through photography.

Balancing school during the day and snapping photos in the early mornings, evenings and even through the night on some occurrences, I became enthralled with the beauty and solitude found in Nature. As my portfolio grew and my adventures became more frequent, my passion for photography and producing meaningful art increased tenfold.

I find this particular creative and deep-seated passion to be an excellent way for me to portray the solitude, space and necessity in being surrounded by Mother Nature.
