Hurricane Helene has completely devastated communities across Western North Carolina, and the need for immediate aid is critical. These areas are my backyard and where I spent a large portion of my life growing up learning the ins and outs of the wild. They are sacred and beautiful areas with some of the most incredible people on earth.
Destruction from Hurricane Helene was insurmountable. Homes and small mountain towns have been destroyed, families displaced, and many are without basic necessities. Local, small organizations—run by volunteers and community members—are on the front lines, doing everything they can with extremely limited resources. These groups are lifelines, but they urgently need support to continue their efforts.
Your donations go directly to these incredible teams, ensuring help reaches those most in need. Time is of the essence—every contribution can save lives and bring vital relief to those who have lost everything.

Smart Bottle Relief Fund: Hydration for Hurricane Helene Survivors
As power returns to Western NC, Smart Bottle Inc. is back in action, producing essential collapsible water containers for families devastated by Hurricane Helene. The fundraising goal has been increased to $20,000 to provide more of these life-saving bottles. Each donation helps deliver 1-gallon, FDA-approved Smart Bottles that are compact, easy to store, and crucial for safe water storage. The Wilkes family, based in Weaverville, NC, is at the heart of this effort, working tirelessly to support their community. Your contribution can provide clean water and hope to those in need.
Support for Saluda and Green River Cove
The communities in Saluda and Green River Cove are stranded after Hurricane Helene destroyed portions of Green River Cove Rd, leaving some areas impassable. With boulders blocking access and road conditions too dangerous for regular vehicles, an emergency access road is being created. However, the community urgently needs a 5-seater UTV/side-by-side to transport essential supplies. A local Charlotte company has stepped in to help with delivery, but your support is needed to secure the vehicle and ensure these communities get the resources they need. Every donation helps bring relief to those trapped by the storm.

Donations will provide basic necessities and help him find a new place to live. Every bit of support makes a difference in his recovery.
